Fuglen is a multi-concept gem that began life as a coffee shop in 1963 (then known as Kaffefuglen) and reemerged in 2012 with a fresh identity that blends quality coffee, cocktails, and Norwegian design under one roof. Step inside and you’re transported back to the mid-century modern era, surrounded by timeless furniture, lighting, and objects of exceptional quality. And if you fall in love with a piece, you can buy it on the spot and brign it home.
It was here that Norwegian Icons was born: the interiors, fully furnished with Norwegian mid-century design, sparked a renewed interest in the country’s design heritage. The same vision shaped Fuglen Tokyo, which brought Norwegian mid-century design into a truly global context.
フグレンは、1963年にコーヒーショップ（当時の名称はKaffefuglen）として誕生し、2012年にリニューアルオープンしました。質の高いコーヒー、カクテル、ノルウェー・デザインを一つの空間で融合させた、多面的なコンセプトが魅力です。店内に足を踏み入れると、ミッドセンチュリー・モダンの時代にタイムスリップしたかのように、時代を超えた家具や照明、質の高いオブジェクトに囲まれます。気に入ったアイテムがあれば、その場で購入して自宅に持ち帰ることも可能です。
ここでNorwegian Iconsが誕生しました。ノルウェーのミッドセンチュリー・デザインで完全にコーディネートされたインテリアは、国内外でデザイン遺産への関心を呼び起こしました。同じ理念はフグレン東京にも受け継がれ、ノルウェーのミッドセンチュリー・デザインを世界的な舞台に紹介しました。
